Interior layout

Southeast-facing windows illuminate this apartment’s bright and airy master bedroom, which includes a comfortable king-sized bed. The second bedroom overlooks the gardens, and has two single beds. Tastefully decorated with relaxed colour palettes, both bedrooms contain two bedside tables with lamps, and plenty of storage space for your clothes and belongings.

The large windows of the beautiful living room look out toward the Traverse Theatre. Warm and welcoming furnishings complete the space. Gather around with friends and family on the plush sofas of the sitting area, or simply sit back and enjoy a read from the apartment’s many cosy bookshelves.

The stylish modern kitchen contains everything you might need for self catering, including two ovens, a hob, a toaster, and a kettle. The sleek dining table seats up to four.

A funky bathroom with a full tiled bath provides all the facilities and comforts needed for a great stay.

Around and about

Cambridge Street is located in the city centre of Edinburgh, with stunning views of Edinburgh Castle from the building’s doorstep. The Castle Esplanade and the historic Royal Mile are just a 10 minute walk away, and Princes Street Garden is just around the corner.

The immediate area offers plenty of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. Timberyard and Kanpai Sushi are a stone’s throw away, and guests will a quick five minute walk to the many dining and shopping options in the New Town, near Princes Street and George Street. For those hoping to make the most out of the self-catering kitchen, Edinburgh Farmers’ Market on Castle Terrace every Saturday brings Scotland’s best local products right to your doorstep.

At the same time, the many attractions of the Old Town are equally nearby. Mary’s Milk Bar serves delicious scoops of uniquely flavoured gelato in the Grassmarket, just a five-minute walk away, and book lovers may enjoy browsing the many wonderful secondhand bookshops along West Port, such as Armchair Books.

This apartment is also in the perfect location for those attending the Edinburgh Festival and Fringe Festival. The Usher Hall, Traverse Theatre, and The Lyceum Theatre are less than a one minute walk away from the front door.

Additionally, for those visiting on business, the Edinburgh International Conference Centre is just around the corner.

Please note that there is no parking at the apartment.  The nearest long-stay car park is NCP Castle Terrace. You can find more information from our parking guide in Edinburgh. On-street parking is free from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 a.m. from Monday to Saturday, from 6:30 p.m. until 12:30 p.m. from Saturday to Sunday and from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 a.m. from Sunday to Monday. The apartment is also very close to the long stay car parks located at Riego Street.

Booking requirements

One member of the booking party must be over 25 years old. We reserve the right to vet any booking. We require names and ages of all guests, as well as addresses and ID.

Important

This apartment is not suitable for stag or hen parties. A damage deposit of £250 is required and will be fully refunded pending no damages one week after your departure. Alternatively, we can offer you an insurance policy to cover damages and excess cleaning. The cost of the policy will vary depending on the length of your stay.

Check-in is from 16:00 until 22:00, or later by special arrangement.

Luggage Storage

You are welcome to store your luggage free of charge at our Greatbase Office, located at 24 St Stephen Street, during office hours from Monday to Friday. Please confirm your drop-off and collection time if you would like to use this service.
