Located in a residential area of Edinburgh, this second floor one-bedroom self-catering holiday accommodation is the perfect holiday apartment to live life like a local with the added convenience of being close to transport links to whizz you into town when you want to do a bit of sight-seeing. Perfect for those looking for an affordable short term let or holiday accommodation that feels like a home away from home.

Interior layout

Sleeping up to two people, this first floor abode in Edinburgh consists of one bedroom with a luxurious king-sized bed and boasts typical features of classic Edinburgh properties, such as lovely wooden flooring in the living room and an Edinburgh press. Entering into the hallway, you have the living room to your left, the kitchen straight ahead and the bedroom to your right, with an adjacent bathroom. With plenty of storage for all your belongings you can arrive and make yourself right at home.

After a full day of pounding the pavement checking out Edinburgh’s most important tourist sites you might want to come home and put your feet up in the living room of our Leslie Place apartment. There is ample space to get comfy, with a sofa and two armchairs plus a TV if you fancy snuggling up with some popcorn and a film for a night of relaxation.

The kitchen is the perfect place to cook a meal together, with all useful appliances present including hob, oven, fridge, microwave, toaster and freezer and kettle so you can cook up a storm if you fancy a cosy night in. There is a wood dining table set and chairs in the living room with seating for four people.

Along the hallway you will find the delightfully light master bedroom which is furnished with a king sized bed and plenty of storage, along with a dressing table and a sofa.

The separate modern tiled bathroom suite has a toilet, sink and modern shower over a bath.

Towels and linen are supplied and a high chair and travel cot are available by request. If you need a travel cot and/or high chair for your little one, please request the travel cot and/or high chair at least three days in advance of your arrival date. Be sure to bring your own linen for the travel cot as we do not have the linen for the cot. The travel cot comes equipped with a standard UK lightweight foldable mattress. However, if you prefer an additional mattress for extra comfort, please bring that along as well.

Around and about

Leslie Place is situated in the heart of the Stockbridge district, where you can take advantage of the Sunday Stockbridge market or any of the area’s myriad pubs, cafes and boutique shops. Independent stores such as IJ Mellis Cheesemongers and Unknown Italy are excellent for making the most out of your self-catering kitchen!

And if this sounds all a bit too hectic, why not unwind with a stroll along the Water of Leith Walkway, which will take you to scenic Dean Village and the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art.

The bus stop to take the bus into town can be found round the corner, only a 2 minute walk away, and you can take Lothian bus 29 and 24 to Princes Street and the city centre.

One member of the booking party must be at least 25 years old.

Important

This holiday apartment is not suitable for stag or hen parties. A damage deposit of £200 is required prior to arrival and, in the event that there is no damage to the apartment, will be fully refunded one week after your departure.

House rules

• This apartment accommodates a maximum of 2 guests. No unregistered guests are allowed to visit or stay overnight.
• Parties, events, and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. All guests must comply with our other house rules regarding noise and the neighborhood.
• Please do not engage in any anti-social behaviour. Guests must not behave in a way which causes, or is likely to cause, alarm, distress, nuisance or annoyance to any person; or which amounts to harassment of any person; or causes damage to anyone’s property. This includes high levels of noise and drunken or threatening behaviour, which is strictly prohibited.
• No pets are allowed.
• Please be respectful of your neighbours and keep any form of noise to a minimum between the hours of 9:00 pm and 7:30 a.m.
• Strictly no smoking, vaping, candles, or incense burners. Smoking is not permitted in the apartment.

Check-in is from 16:00 until 22:00, or later by special arrangement.
You will be asked to check-out before 10:30.

We will send you the check-in instructions at least one day prior to your arrival date. It is important to check your email to ensure you have received these instructions before you arrive, as they contain all the necessary details to make your check-in process smooth and efficient. Should you prefer to receive the check-in instructions further in advance, please do not hesitate to let us know. We are more than happy to accommodate your request and ensure you have all the information you need well ahead of time.

Luggage Storage

You are welcome to store your luggage free of charge at our Greatbase Office, located at 24 St Stephen Street, during office hours from Monday to Friday. Please confirm your drop-off and collection time if you would like to use this service.
