When you need a break from the excitement of the city centre, our Edinburgh Waverley Apartment offers a stylish self-catering retreat right in the heart of the bustling Edinburgh Old Town. Located within a short walking distance from Edinburgh Waverley train station and just off the famous Royal Mile, this stylish Edinburgh holiday flat’s contemporary furnishings stand in refreshing contrast to its historic surroundings. High ceilings and large, light-filled windows provide a welcoming space for you to rest and relax.
Interior layout
Guests will have the option to take a lift up to this second-floor apartment, although there are four more steps up to the entrance after the lift. In the distinctive, checkerboard-tiled entry hallway, guests will be met by a clear glass console table and blue velvet chair.
The cosy and colourful living room is one of the many highlights of the Waverley Apartment. A comfortable blue couch and two lovely chartreuse armchairs provide stylish casual seating around the mantel and the large television, which is perched on a distinctive wooden stand. Modern side tables and standing lamps add additional character to the room.To the side, a round glass dining table seats four.
The elegant, checkerboard-tiled kitchen is spacious and well-stocked. Equipped with essential appliances such as a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle, and two ovens, you will find everything you need for self-catering. Parallel to the counters, a small breakfast bar seats two for casual dining.
This bright and modern apartment has two double bedrooms, both finished with plush carpeting and roller blinds. The first bedroom is decorated with scenic photographs of Edinburgh, and contains a double bed as well as two bedside tables and small lamps.
The spacious second bedroom has two bright windows, as well as two bedside tables and matching lamps. To the side of the room, a closet with full-length mirror doors provides plenty of storage for your things.
The bathroom contains a toilet, sink, large mirror and a spacious shower cubicle.
Around and about
Waverley Apartment is a wonderful base for exploring the capital. Located a stone’s throw from Edinburgh Waverley Railway Station, it’s also very easy to access for those arriving at Edinburgh Airport. Those taking the bus or the tram to the city centre can easily reach the apartment on foot.
Guests will find themselves in the heart of the Old Town, with endless things to do. Edinburgh Castle is just a 10-minute walk away, straight up the Royal Mile, with the Queen’s official residence at Holyrood Palace 10 minutes away in the other direction. The shopping, bars, and restaurants available along Princes Street, George Street and in the St James Quarter can be reached on foot in 7 minutes. Other attractions such as St Giles’ Cathedral and the National Museum of Scotland are equally close.
There are also plenty of options for food and drink. Venture down Cockburn Street to enjoy some coffee at The Milkman, or enjoy some fresh local seafood further down the Royal Mile at White Horse Oyster & Seafood Bar. For an abundance of affordable and diverse dining options, venture down South Bridge towards the university campus. Ikigai Ramen is especially enjoyable on a cold Scottish day!
Please note that there is no parking at the apartment. The nearest multi-storey car park is Q-Park OMNI on Greenside Row, APCOA Parking (UK) Limited at Edinburgh Waverley Station (Long Stay) or Care Park UK Ltd at St James Quarter.
Booking requirements
One member of the booking party must be at least 25 years old.
Important
This holiday apartment is not suitable for stag or hen parties. A damage deposit of £250 is required prior to arrival and, in the event that there is no damage to the apartment, will be fully refunded one week after your departure.
The minimum stay required is 4 nights.
House rules
- This apartment accommodates a maximum of 4 guests. No unregistered guests are allowed to visit or stay overnight.
- Parties, events, and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. All guests must comply with our other house rules regarding noise and the neighborhood.
- Please do not engage in any anti-social behaviour. Guests must not behave in a way which causes, or is likely to cause, alarm, distress, nuisance or annoyance to any person; or which amounts to harassment of any person; or causes damage to anyone’s property. This includes high levels of noise and drunken or threatening behaviour, which is strictly prohibited.
- No pets are allowed.
- Please be respectful of your neighbours and keep any form of noise to a minimum between the hours of 9:00 pm and 7:30 a.m.
- Strictly no smoking, vaping, candles, or incense burners. Smoking is not permitted in the apartment or outside the apartment building.

Check-in is from 16:00 until 22:00, or later by special arrangement.
